Two kinds of messages land here: requests to use gallery images for print, and new trail sets with field notes and a sequence of frames. Name the trail entry and what you intend to do with the images, or describe the route you walked and the ground underfoot.

Before you send a request

The form on this page handles two kinds of messages: licensing an image for print, and offering a trail set for the index. A few details up front make both easier to work through.

For a licensing or print request

  • Name the trail entry you want, using the title as it appears in the index.
  • Describe the intended use: a publication, an interior print, a route guide, a display panel.
  • For print, give the finished size and the orientation you have in mind.
  • If you need a specific frame from a sequence, describe what it shows so it can be matched.

For a trail set submission

  • The route itself, with the start and end points as you walked or rode them.
  • A field note covering surface, shade, wind exposure and access points.
  • The image sequence, in the order you would want it read.
  • Roughly when the images were made, since the collection is built across seasons.

What the form does

It sends a plain request. It does not open an account, place an order, book anything or start a subscription.

What it does not promise

No fixed reply window and no automatic confirmation email. Messages are read and answered when they are worked through.

What to include in a message

  • Licensing a trail image. Name the trail entry and describe the intended use, so the terms can be matched to it.
  • Sending in a trail set. Give the route, a short field note on surface, shade, wind exposure and access points, and the image sequence.
  • Print requests. Mention the trail and the print format you have in mind.
  • Route questions. Ask about a specific path if something in a field note needs clearing up.
