Privacy Policy

How Korčula Outdoors handles the images, field notes and messages that reach us through the contact form, and what you can ask us to do with your own material.

What the contact form collects

The form asks for your name, your email address, the type of request, an optional trail or route name, your message, and a confirmation that you understand submitted images may be reviewed for the trail index. Nothing else is requested, and there is no account, order or subscription behind it.

How submissions are stored

When a form is sent, the handler writes the submitted values, the submission time, the form identifier, the page language and the source query string to a local log at /private/submissions.jsonl. There is no automatic deletion schedule. Entries stay in that log until the site owner removes them by hand.

What we do not do

Your rights over your data

You can ask for access to what we hold about you, request a correction, ask for deletion, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent to further use. Where the GDPR or CCPA applies to you, those rights are the same ones we honour here. Write to us and we will act on the request.

Attribution and licensing

Images and field notes stay attributed to the people who made them. A licensing or trail-set request sent through the form is reviewed as exactly that, and nothing in the review process transfers ownership of your material to us.

No misleading claims

We do not use fake urgency, invented endorsements or borrowed brand names, and we do not claim an official affiliation or a guaranteed result that we cannot back up. This page was last updated in 2026. If anything here contradicts our terms page, tell us through the contact form and we will correct it.
