These terms cover how the trail gallery, its field notes and its image plates may be read, reused and requested. They apply to every visitor and to anyone offering images for the index.
What the gallery is
Korčula Outdoors is a documentary record of walking routes, stone paths, pine tracks and shoreline scrambles, organised by trail rather than by date. Each entry pairs a field note with a sequence of images shot on foot over several seasons.
Reading and reuse
You may read entries for trip planning and route comparison. Field notes on surface, shade, wind exposure and access points stay with their entries. Republishing notes or images elsewhere, in print or online, needs written permission from the contributor who holds them.
A record, not a guide
Entries describe what contributors saw on the ground at the time. No route is presented as maintained, marked or safe at any given moment. Conditions change with weather, season and land use, so treat every note as a record of a past visit and check the ground yourself.
Contributor material
Images and notes remain the property of their contributors, who are hikers, trail runners and cyclists. Submitting a set for the index does not transfer ownership. We may review, decline or hold a submission, and we do not guarantee that any offered set will be published.
Requests and enquiries
Print and licensing requests go through the contact form, along with route questions and photo submissions. The form collects your name, email address, the type of request, an optional trail reference and your message, and it records the submission time, form id, page language, source query and the values you send.
Limits and changes
The gallery is provided as it stands, without warranties about accuracy or fitness for a particular trip. We are not liable for decisions made from an entry. These terms may be updated as the index grows; the current version always applies. Legal questions can be sent to support@korculaoutdoors.com or by post to The Firs, 32 Baker Street, Rosebank, Johannesburg, 2196, South Africa.
